You might have heard about Acupressure. It is the ancient Chinese method which is still practiced for maintaining health and wellness. This method was discovered 5000 years ago. Acupressure is to apply pressure to certain parts of body to relieve pain and promote health. But this does not deal with body parts and internal organs.

What are benefits of Acupressure?

This is useful to reduce pain and muscle tension in the body. Acupressure is also a great way to reduce cold, stress or any other congestion in the body. If used properly this techniques can help you gain a healthy and glowing skin. Isn’t it great to know that you can achieve glowing skin in few finger tips?

How does the Acupressure work?

By using right pressure points one can gain glowing and youthful skin. When pressure is applied on the points, metabolism and blood circulation in skin improves. The cells which are produced in the epidermis layer are gradually pushed out of the skin. Thus, improved metabolism will help to reduce wrinkles & improved blood circulation will make skin acne free and soft.

So, today I am going to tell about some acupressure points that will improve skin tone, firm facial muscles and give glowing complexion.

Heavenly-Pillar1- Heavenly Pillar: – This pressure point is at the base of skull where spinal cord is attached. These pressure points are marked in the picture. Hold this place with your finger tips and press it for 3 minutes. Do this daily and you will be relieving the stress in your skin. This will also reduce acne, eyestrain, heaviness in head. Applying pressure in these points also eliminate insomnia, exhaustion and also sore throats.

Heavenly-Glow-point2- Heavenly Glow point: – Heavenly glow point is all about improving skin facial muscle or skin luster and providing with all over glow. This point is situated behind the jaws bone, few centimeters below earlobe. Put pressure here for few minutes daily. Make use of this pressure point regularly and improve luster of the skin and tone of facial muscles. This also lessens wrinkles on face.

Third-eye-point3- Third eye point: – This point is right between eyebrows where bridge of nose meets center of forehead. This pressure point stimulates the pituitary gland. Place index finger and put pressure on this area for at least a minute daily. The pituitary gland is the one which helps to enhance condition of body’s skin. So, doing this everyday can reduce the risk of various skim problems.

Facial-beauty-point4- Facial beauty point: – The facial beauty point is very effective to get beautiful and healthy skin. You can find this beauty point on the base of the on both sides of the face. This point improves skin circulation, facial swelling, eye puffiness and also the skin tone. Apply pressure here with your index fingers on both points for at least 1-2 minutes daily. Doing this on regular basis will reduce blemish marks, acne and improve skin circulation and also the skin tone.

Beauty-sleep-massage5- Beauty sleep massage: – This consumes some time but provide with great benefits. After applying night cream on your face, follow these steps:

  • Press the area near the nose bridge at your inner eyebrows. Hold this for 10 seconds.
  • After this reach your temples and hold it for 10 seconds.
  • Now press the pressure points right besides the nostrils and then press for 10 seconds.

Now repeat this same procedure at least eight times every night before sleep. This will help to gain a better skin tone and will completely relax facial skin. This will also help you to sleep faster than usual.
