Healthy skin has a perfect oil and water balance, which allows tissue cells to do their job naturally. When we talk about skin type, it seems to be an easy question but are you aware of your skin type? If someone asks, you which skin type you have? Your answer might be “not really sure, it might be oily or dry”. So, know your skin type first and select the best regime for your skin.
There are 5 types of skin types which are oily, combination, dry, normal and sensitive.
Dry Skin:
In this type, skin becomes rough and dry. Skin is not able to produce enough oil. Skin texture become tight and rough. Mostly people confuse dry skin with dehydrated skin. Dehydrated skin is a condition of skin in which skin lack of moisten while dry skin lack oil. Dry skin can be lead to dehydrated skin.
Normal skin:
Normal skin is healthiest skin which has good oil and water balance. The follicles on skin surface are of normal sized. This type of skin need more care as it fluctuates to become oily and dry skin.
Combination skin:
Combination skin referred to skin which is both oily and dry. In these type of skin T zone of face is oilier and other part of face become dry. It is advised for combination skin, take balance of water-oil production with skin.
Oily Skin:
Oily skin is referred by the excess production of oil on skin surface. Over-production of the oil on the surface of skin can block the pores and clogged pores on skin. So, Oily skin requires more cleansing and exfoliation. In oily skin, it becomes more important to maintain the water-oil balance of skin.
Sensitive skin:
Sensitive skin may be referred as skin type or skin disorder, which arises due to the exposure of sun light, pollutant, stress and other related factors. Sensitive skin can be characterized by thin skin, fragile and redness. This is most challenging type of skin as it has low tolerance to the external factors.
Oil-Water balance:
