Take one teaspoon each of cinnamon powder and honey. Mix both the ingredients well. Spread this mixture on the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then, wash your face with lukewarm water.
This powerful herb is extracted from Mukul Myrrh tree. Guggulu helps to prevent wrinkles. The anti-inflammatory properties of it help to inhibit the effect of harmful free radicals.
For this, you’ll need 1 teaspoon Guggula powder and 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shea butter. Then, mix these two ingredients in a proper manner. Massage the mixture on the face before going to bed. Let it stay overnight and wash off the next day.
This is a well-known herb which is used for its medicinal properties. Ashwagandha is loaded with antibacterial and antifungal properties and helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress and damage. This keeps your skin in good health and the signs of aging at bay.
Take a ½ teaspoon each of ashwagandha powder, dry ginger powder and lemon juice (with added water). Mix all these ingredients well and make a paste. In case it’s too thick, add a bit of water. Put this paste all over your face and let it dry. Then, wash it off with water.
This herb protects your skin from the harmful UV rays which cause fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging. Rosemary helps to prevent photodamage and improves the elasticity of the skin.
For this, you will need two cups of water, two fresh twigs of rosemary and three tablespoons apple cider vinegar. Then the next step is to mix all the ingredients in a pot and boil on medium heat. Boil for a while (until the quantity is reduced to half) and let it cool. After this strain the liquid and store in a spray bottle. You can use this solution as a toner for your skin.
This aromatic herb has multiple benefits. Apart from adding flavor to your food, it helps to prevent the skin damage and signs of aging. It possesses great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Take one tablespoon of dried thyme and half a cup of alcohol-free witch hazel. Then, add all the ingredients in a glass jar. Let the thyme soak in the witch hazel (an astringent) for a week. After this, strain the solution and use it as a toner.
