People of any age can have the common and annoying problem of blackheads on their skin. But quite often this issue occurs to the teenagers or the ones in their adolescent years.

These annoying blackheads occur when your pores become clogged with extra sebum viz. the oil secreted by the sebaceous glands. The skin glands secrete this oil to keep it supple. Along with this, the dead skin cells also get accumulated in the facial pores and clog them up.

Because of this combination of excess sebum, dirt and dead cells a clog develops in the opening of hair follicles. This leads to the formation of tiny black or yellow bumps. They look dark not due to dirt but as a result of oxidization. It takes place when the blocked pores are exposed to the air.

Some common factors which lead to the appearance of blackheads on the face are: –

  • Changes in the hormones
  • Using chemical based cosmetic products in excess
  • Not taking proper care of skin
  • Stress

Many prescribed medicines are available for this problem, but it’s better to opt for natural methods. With some of your kitchen ingredients, you can treat blackheads.

Let’s discuss them in detail!

As a result, the pores become clean and clear. Splash your face with clean and fresh water and dry with a soft towel. Use a light moisturizer afterward.

Sweat it Out :

Though the sweat glands and hair follicle pores are different things, sweating can help to reduce blackheads. Sweat flows over in a natural way and removes anything that clogs the pores. You can do exercise or have a sauna bath to work up for a sweat. Make sure to wash your face both before and after a workout session. In case you do any activity with makeup or anything on your face, the sweat will carry it to the pores making them clogged. Thus, on one hand, sweat can clean pores but on other, it can clog them. Do it the right way!
