Potato :

The natural bleaching properties of potato can help to lighten the under eye skin. Use of potato can help to get rid of puffiness around the eyes too.


Take two fresh potatoes and keep them in a refrigerator for an hour. Then peel and grate these chilled potatoes to take out their juice. Put this juice around your eyes with the help of a cotton ball before going to sleep. Keep it overnight and next morning; wash your face with warm water. You can do this on regular basis to get satisfactory results.

Green tea bags :

Green tea bags are rich in antioxidants and tannins. That is why it can help in lightening the dark circles. The tannins of green tea can help to reduce swelling and puffiness under eyes.


Take two green tea bags and boil them in ½ cup water for 10 minutes. After that, remove the tea bags and keep them in a refrigerator for half an hour. Then place the cold tea bags over your eyes for at least 15 minutes. Try to do this two times a day in routine for at least 10 days to get progressive results.

Rose Water :

Rose water is a gentle solution with excellent skin benefits that can lighten dark circles under the eyes. The antioxidants of rose water can help to build and regenerate and refreshes the cells.


Take clean cotton pads and dip them in rose water. Then place these cotton pads over your eyes for 15 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water. You can do this once in the morning and once in the evening in routine for two weeks.

Almond oil :

Milk :

Milk is a source of lactic acid and helps to soften and moisturize the skin under the eyes. Milk has many properties that are required to strengthen and heal the damaged cells. It can work as a cold compress to treat puffiness and dark circles.


Take cold milk and soak cotton balls in it. Then place the cotton balls under your eyes and hold them until they become warm. You can follow this remedy 3-4 times in routine for a few weeks.

Coconut oil :

Coconut oil helps to moisturize the delicate area under the eye. Our skin absorbs coconut oil in an easy manner and we get positive results.


Take a little coconut oil and dab it on the portion under the eyes. Massage the area in both clockwise and anticlockwise. Keep it overnight and wash it off with lukewarm water the next morning. You can try to follow this in routine life for at least a week.
