The B complex vitamins of the oranges are helpful for increasing the blood circulation. It means that more oxygen and nutrients reach the skin, which is necessary for a healthy tone. You can drink orange juice, eat oranges as a snack or add some in a fruit salad.

Milk :

Milk is a good source of calcium, vitamin D, and other nutrients. Plus it helps to promote a good skin health. People since ages have been using milk for making their skin soft and smooth.


It helps to remove the upper dead layer of the skin. Thus, drink a glass of milk in breakfast or before going to bed. Moreover, you can apply some milk on your skin to make it look even toned.

Almonds :

The flavonoids of dark chocolate play a major role in protecting the skin from the harmful rays of the sun. It helps to increase the flow of blood to the skin and improves the hydration and complexion of it.


The cocoa extract of dark chocolate is useful in reducing the rough and dry texture of the skin. Since the dark chocolate is a hub of high calories, so, don’t eat more than three ounces of it in a day.  You can add dark chocolate to smoothies, muffins or homemade cakes.

Papaya :

This sweet and delightful fruit contains vitamins, enzymes, and dietary fiber. It helps to improve digestion and flush out the toxins from the body.


Better digestion help you get a healthy and infection free skin. This, in turn, prevents the appearance of acne and spots.

Broccoli :

This cruciferous vegetable is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. Other properties like anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial make it an ideal food for healthy skin.


You can have grilled, steamed broccoli in your salad or with grilled chicken or fish.

So, these are some of the foods that you must add to your regular diet to get a healthy skin. Along with this, drink plenty of water throughout the day for keeping the skin hydrated. Follow a healthy lifestyle and exercise on regular basis.
