Some things can become better with age but this statement is not suitable for your skin. In fact, the opposite is true. Because as you grow older your skin begins to break down and aging signs start appearing.

Crow’s Feet :

This is the name given to fine lines that occur around the outside corners of our eyes. This is one of the first signs of aging. They start appearing in the mid 20’s and can become noticeable with age. The collagen of skin reduces with age that is why soft skin around the eyes develops small lines.


Take vitamin E oil and massage around your eyes in a gentle manner for a few minutes. You can do this activity two times a day. In case you don’t get vitamin E oil, you can break open a vitamin E capsule and use its contents.  Moreover, you can use aloe vera gel around your eyes before going to bed.

Wrinkles :

Wrinkles are the formation of pleats, folds, or fine lines on the skin that occur with age. It is a noteworthy sign of natural aging that appears after the age of 25. The common places where one gets wrinkles are face, neck, back of the hands and top of the forearms.


You can take ripe banana, papaya or avocado and mash it. Put the face mask of it for at least 30 minutes, and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Try to do this 2 or 3 times a week. Or you can do regular massage of your skin with warm olive or coconut oil to reduce wrinkles.

Dry Skin :

You may find that your well-hydrated skin sometimes starts becoming dry and rough. This can be a sign of skin aging. While aging, your skin doesn’t produce enough natural oils to keep it soft and elastic. This can make the top skin dry and flaky.


Massage your skin with olive or coconut oil 30 minutes before bathing. Rub it in a gentle and proper manner. Then take a shower and put a light skin moisturizer.

Saggy Skin :

Loss of bounciness of skin gives another sign of aging known as saggy skin. In this the skin becomes loose. Unhealthy lifestyle, dehydration, and using products which are not suitable for your skin and harsh chemicals can make your skin loose.


Extract out the gel from a fresh aloe vera leaf and put it on your face and neck. Keep it for 10-15 minutes and then wash it with lukewarm water. Try this remedy for a week to notice the difference.

Age Spots and Skin Darkening :

The pigment that gives color to the skin is known as melanin. With age, hormonal changes take place this can increase the production of melanin pigment. This can make your skin darker. Such dark and age spots are seen on the face, arms, back, and hands.


With the help of a cotton ball rub some fresh lemon juice on your skin. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes and after that wash with water. You can do it two times a day. Also, protect your skin from the sun by a good quality sunscreen lotion.

Large skin pores :

There are tiny openings on the surface of the skin called pores. They become large and prominent with age. Tight and small skin pores keep the skin young and healthy. Whereas, the large pores contributes to skin aging.

Ice helps in shrinkage of large pores because of its skin-tightening effect. Hence, you can take some ice in a piece of cloth and rub on the affected area. Do this for five minutes in a day at least for few weeks.
